The Abbey of The Roses is renowned as the “Most spectacular venue on the Southern Downs”. It has been uniquely restored and is now perhaps the premier wedding and function centre in the region. You have the option to be married in our heritage Chapel, or in our spacious rose gardens. Ceremony and canapé package from $49 to packages for over $300 per person – there is bound to be something to suit your style and budget.

Within and around the splendid 1891 gothic sandstone building, the photographic opportunities are endless! There is our fabulous foyer area, the magnificent cedar staircases, the chapel, the bridal suite, our spacious lawns, the fragrant rose arbour, gazebo and our very own grotto. We also offer the perfect setting for those pre-dinner drinks and canapés as well as for those very spacious photographs, under our ancient pepper trees, on our spacious lawns and wide verandahs.

We pride ourselves that all weddings run ever so smoothly in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are here to host your wedding in every way we can. Our staff operates as a co-operative team whose only purpose is to make your Wedding Day as memorable an occasion as humanly possible.
